World Book Day at Saint Malachy's

Happy World Book Day! Today, our school celebrated the joy of reading with fun activities for all. Children from Nursery to Primary 7 shared reviews of their favourite books during assembly, and we announced the winners of our children's bookmark competition and the staff emoji challenge.
The whole school took part in Drop Everything and Read, followed by paired reading with older and younger pupils. In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed quizzes, songs, riddles, and challenges inspired by World Book Day. It was a wonderful day full of stories, creativity, and reading fun!
