In January, the children have been exploring the signs of winter through a range of creative and hands-on activities.
We looked closely at how our environment changes during the colder months, then used this learning to inspire our artwork. The children followed step-by-step instructions to draw their own snowmen, carefully thinking about shape, size, and detail. They also created beautiful paper snowflakes, each one unique—just like real snowflakes! The children had great fun making their own snowmen, bringing their ideas to life with lots of imagination and enthusiasm
To finish our winter theme, the children wrote sentences about winter. It has been a wonderful way to celebrate the winter season and develop observational, creative, instructional and writing skills.
