We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Liz Madden for kindly bringing the Slieve Gullion Doll’s House into school. The children—and staff!—have been completely captivated by its intricate details and the wonderful stories it inspires.
The Doll’s House will be the creative stimulus for an exciting whole-school art project over the coming weeks. Every class will contribute their own artistic responses, drawing on the themes, craftsmanship and imagination that the Doll’s House evokes.
This special project will culminate in a school-wide art exhibition on Thursday 2nd April, where the children’s work will be proudly showcased. We are delighted to have such a unique and inspiring starting point, and we are very grateful to Liz for helping to make this possible.
