The boys and girls in Primary 3/4 have been learning all about the Ancient Egyptians and discovering how and why pyramids were built. After exploring these fascinating structures, the children had great fun working together to create their very own pyramids using scrap materials brought in from home.
There were all sorts of creative items used—cardboard, tubes, string, and quite a lot of Blu Tack! (I may need to restock soon!) But just look at how fantastic their pyramids turned out.
Even though the classroom looked a little like an archaeological dig site afterwards, the children showed brilliant teamwork as all hands were on deck to tidy up—just like real Ancient Egyptian workers.
