Primary 7 Leaversโ Assembly 2026
Last Friday, we gathered to celebrate our wonderful Primary 7 pupils at their Leavers’ Assembly. It was a truly brilliant occasion – full of laughter, fun, pride and, of course, a few tears as we prepare to say goodbye to a fantastic group of young people heading off to secondary school.
The pupils were outstanding from start to finish and were a credit to themselves, their families and our school. Throughout their time with us they have been excellent ambassadors for St Malachy’s, always giving their best and embracing every opportunity. They will be greatly missed by staff and pupils alike.
The assembly featured some memorable performances, including a moving rendition of “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman and a specially adapted St Malachy’s version of “Pink Pony Club”, both of which brought energy, humour and plenty of smiles to the audience.
A huge thank you must go to our Primary 7 staff – Mrs Turley and Mr Hannaway – for all their hard work in bringing the production together. Special thanks also to Eoin Sands for adding his magical touch to the performances, Mrs Reel for filming and expertly editing the videos, Bernie for the wonderful signs and displays, and to our Primary 7 parents for their support and encouragement throughout the years.
Most importantly, thank you to our Primary 7 pupils for giving it their all, all the time. Your enthusiasm, effort, talent and positive attitude made the day so special and created memories that will last for years to come.
Finally, thank you to everyone who played a part in making the Leavers’ Assembly such a memorable occasion. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Primary 7 pupils and wish them every success and happiness as they begin the next chapter of their journey.
Once a St Malachy’s pupil, always a St Malachy’s pupil. Good luck, Primary 7! ๐๐๐
