📆NUMBERS ALL AROUND US🧮

As part of our celebrations for Maths Week Ireland, Primary 4 pupils were set an exciting challenge: to take their numeracy skills beyond the classroom and explore how numbers appear in everyday life. Armed with curiosity and cameras, the children ventured around the school grounds and their homes, identifying numbers in the environment.  From house numbers to clocks, number plates and playground markings.

This activity helped pupils see how maths is all around us and encouraged them to think creatively and critically about the role numbers play in our daily routines.

The activity was a wonderful way to combine mathematical thinking and real-world learning while also celebrating the joy of maths in a fun and meaningful way!
