During May we have had an exciting time exploring the topic of mini beasts through a variety of engaging activities. We went on an adventurous mini beast hunt, carefully searching for insects in the garden and learning about their different habitats. The children expressed their creativity through artwork, bring bugs to life with paints, crayons, markers, and craft materials. We also have been practicing our counting skills by tallying up the number of mini beasts that we found. Alongside this, the children have been observing the growth of our broad bean plants, watching closely as pods begin to form and learning the life cycle of a butterfly- witnessing the magic transformation firsthand. Jurassic Ark Encounters NI came to visit the nursery, bringing along their amazing animals, and we had the exciting opportunity to hold them and learn fascinating facts about each one.
