Yesterday, our Key Stage 2 pupils from P5, P5/6, P6 and P7 enjoyed a fantastic Annual Fun Morning and Internal Gaelic Football Blitz at Shane O’Neill’s GAC. Although the weather threatened to dampen proceedings with a few showers, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits! The boys and girls embraced every moment, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the morning.
The event provided pupils with an opportunity to take part in a range of exciting Gaelic football activities and fun games, many of which were creatively designed and organised by the pupils themselves. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, encouraging one another and enjoying healthy competition in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
A thank you goes to the teachers and classroom assistants who helped referee matches, organise activities and ensure the event ran smoothly. Their support and encouragement played a key role in making the morning such a success.
