Our P4 children recently enjoyed a creative learning experience in the school’s eco-area. As part of their science and art curriculum, the pupils set out to find a variety of leaves around the school grounds. Equipped with magnifying glasses, they closely examined the different shapes, sizes and colours of the leaves they collected.
The children carefully sketched their favourite leaves, paying attention to the unique patterns and details they observed. Afterwards, they used pastels to add vibrant colours to their drawings, capturing the beauty of nature in their artwork.
This activity helped pupils develop their observation skills, learn more about the natural world and express their creativity through art.
