Discovering Minibeasts in Our Environment
7th May 2026
Today we went on a minibeast walk around the school grounds. The children explored carefully under logs, stones and in the flower beds, where they discovered a wide variety of minibeasts, including snails, slugs, wood lice, beetles, worms, spiders and butterflies. The children showed great excitement as they observed the creatures closely and talked about what they noticed. We also stopped to listen to the beautiful chirping of the birds, helping the children to appreciate the natural environment around them.
