The boys and girls football teams proudly represented the school at the annual Bernie O’Rourke Tournament in Dromintee last Friday. Both teams displayed excellent skill, teamwork and determination throughout their matches, competing against strong opposition from across the area.
The players showed great sportsmanship on and off the pitch, encouraging one another and playing with enthusiasm from start to finish. There were some fantastic passages of play, with well-taken scores and committed defending on display in every game.
It was a very enjoyable day for all involved, and a great opportunity for the pupils to gain valuable match experience while representing their school. A big thank you to the organisers for hosting such a well-run tournament, and to everyone who supported the teams on the day.
