Congratulations to this P5 student who won highly commended status in the ‘Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend’ schools competition sponsored by Asda, Key Stage 2 section. This year due to the standard of the entries, the judges had a very difficult decision and decided to award a highly commended certificate as acknowledgement that the entry was shortlisted and completed to an excellent standard. The judges thought that this student’s poem was great and covered a variety of commodities, depicting ‘farming through the seasons’ and importance of supporting local! Congratulations!
