A Truly Special Milestone for Our Primary 4 Children
The children of Primary 4 celebrated their First Holy Communion in St. Malachy’s Chapel in a beautiful, reverent and joy-filled ceremony. Each child was a credit to their families and to our school, participating with such confidence, respect and sincerity as they reached this very special milestone in their faith journey. It was a proud and memorable day for all who were present.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr Anthony for leading such a meaningful and uplifting celebration, and to Catherine, our sacristan, for her care and preparation behind the scenes. A special word of appreciation also goes to our wonderful school choir, beautifully led by Caitríona and Ciarán, whose music added so much to the spirit of the occasion.
Following the ceremony, families gathered back at the school to enjoy refreshments. Our dedicated staff worked tirelessly to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, allowing everyone to continue the celebrations together.
We are so proud of each and every one of our children on this special day. May the blessings they received continue to guide them as they grow in faith, and may they always remember the joy and significance of their First Holy Communion.
