Last Friday, our class was transformed into a vibrant hub of culture, creativity, and colour as we celebrated Thai Art Friday! It was a fun-filled day where we immersed ourselves in the rich traditions of Thailand, learning about its unique customs, beautiful language and artistic heritage.
One of the highlights of the day was learning how Thai people traditionally use fans to keep cool in the tropical heat. We each got to paint our very own fan using bright colours and traditional patterns, which we were thrilled to take home as a special souvenir of the day.
Another exciting part of the day was dressing up in traditional Thai clothing! The outfits were absolutely beautiful, with rich fabrics, golden details, and elegant designs. Everyone looked amazing and really enjoyed experiencing what it might feel like to dress in Thai style.
Overall, Thai Art Friday was a wonderful way to explore another culture and celebrate diversity in a fun, hands-on way.
