Primary 2b have been busy consolidating their learning of Number Bonds to 10 through lots of fun, active maths!
The classroom was full of enthusiastic mathematicians using counters, cubes, ten frames, fingers and games to practise all the different ways to make 10.
We worked with partners, built number towers and enjoyed singing our number bond songs 🎵.
This consolidation work helped strengthen our confidence, accuracy and recall while building strong foundations for mental maths. Learning through play allowed the children to revisit and secure their understanding in an enjoyable and meaningful way.
